Congrats on results day

As-salamu ‘Alaykum (السلام عليكم)

A momentous occasion regardless of your results. A chapter of your life comes to an end yet your journey as an adult has only commenced. For some it’s further education and for others it’s full time employment. Whatever the grades, to Allah ﷻ is all praise. A huge congrats to our outstanding academics who aced the tests and we applaud the others who tried their best.

Yaseen youth congratulate the youth nationwide on completing their GCSE’s and A-Levels. The results have come in and it can be an emotional time. You’ll have those who are ecstatic and extremely pleased with their results…to them we say…..WELL DONE!!!!!

First and foremost Alhamdu lillah (الحمد لله). Gratitude to Allah ﷻ the Almighty who has provided you the means to achieve what you set out to or even better. The power of prayers is like no other. Allah ﷻ says “Call on Me; I will answer your prayers” so we advise you to constantly call upon Allah ﷻ and to remain humble. You have been gifted with good grades, which undoubtedly means you put in the work and spent hours studying in order to achieve the grades you wanted. This means Allah ﷻ has gifted you with a studious mind, therefore do not forget to study Allah ﷻ and His religion. Iqra!!! The first words ever revealed to the last messenger of Allah ﷻ `Alayhi As-Salaam (عليه السلام). READ! You have been gifted oh young brother/sister, use that gift to gain closeness to the Almighty and your achievements will have no limits.

As for those of you who aren’t too pleased with your results. The reason as to why you didn’t get the grades you wanted will be varied depending on your individual situation/circumstances but If you tried your best and you feel as though your grades were not good enough then we say once again…Alhamdu lillah (الحمد لله) and as reported in Sahih Muslim “Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him, and if he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him.”

Life is full of hurdles and obstacles that Allah ﷻ has written for us. You can use those hurdles and obstacles to gain closeness to Allah ﷻ or they can be used by shaitaan to drive you away from him. It’s during these emotional times that Satan attacks the vulnerable with bad thoughts, but you must learn to accept the decree of Allah ﷻ with a beautiful patience and continue attempting to achieve all your future goals with perseverance and determination. Be a slave of Allah ﷻ and do not become a slave to society and it’s pressures. Continue Attending Islamic classes to gain knowledge on how the friends of Allah ﷻ have gone on to achieve unimaginable things despite their past. We came across a great post relating to turning what we deem as failures into success written by a revert muslim lifestyle blogger and life coach – Christal Joan. An abstract of her piece on this website states the following;

 “Your failure is just Allah’s way of showing you a different path to success. Often, we are in the mindset that there’s only one way to success. Even though we know this isn’t true it’s still a concept that we hold onto. It’s easy to blame the wrong path and not our ability to adapt to the situation we’re in”

It’s a fantastic read and we advise anyone experiencing the feeling of having failed or being a failure to read this post; https://ayeina.com/prophetic-examples-on-perspective-shift/

Yaseen Youth great minds coaches are here for anyone wanting to talk.

We pray that Allah ﷻ increases you all in goodness in this life and the next.
