About the Youth Centre
During the early stages of the pandemic in 2020, Yaseen Youth launched an ambitious campaign to open a centre to offer the youth a safe space for activities, development programmes, mentorship and much more. We were overwhelmed with community support and were blessed to formally open our first centre in Wembley in late 2020.
Our aims include:
- To provide the youth a safe space to be themselves, gain valuable advice, support and skills
- To run a wide range of beneficial programmes for the youth
- To attract youth from the streets to join us and grow closer to their faith
- To embed the right morals, ethics and manners in our youth
- To be a headquarters for many other projects and activities
- To inspire the youth, inspire the world!
What we offer
The centre currently has table tennis, full-sized pool table, air hockey, PS5, Nintendo Switch and two big screens, as well offering a number of services and activities, including:
- Martial arts classes
- Tutoring services
- Boxing classes
- Movie nights
- Pizza nights (with lessons and advice)
- Enterprise classes (art & design, entrepreneurship, design & technology, etc)
- Congregational prayers
