The Al-Noor Annual Boat Race is an event held by Al-Noor Foundation, at Fairlop Waters in Redbridge.

The event allows schools, charities, and different organisations to come together and raise money for a charitable cause that means a lot to them!Β

The boats are segregated – one boat for the brothers and one boat for the sisters. 17 people are required on each boat to row against the other charities.Β

The fastest teams in each round will then compete against each other in the semi-final and finals.

Simply sign up and pay the registration fee and we will create your unique fundraising page so you can start working towards your target!

This way, everyone knows you’re about to participate in this race and raise money for an amazing cause like YYT.

The Registration Fee is Β£20 and this money goes towards the hire of our boat for the charity. Spectators can watch the boat race for free.

We ask all participants to fundraise a minimum of Β£150 in order to take part but, of course, the bigger the amount raised, the bigger impact you can have for your chosen charity (plus the more reward!).

Anyone over the age of 13 can take part.

No! Participants don’t need to be expert swimmers in order to get involved. Every participant is given a life jacket to wear and you’ll be given a full safety briefing before getting on the boat.
